The price of a 19-kg commercial LPG gas cylinder has been increased by ₹6 across India as of March 1, 2025. This price revision, made by state-owned oil marketing companies, impacts hotels, restaurants, and businesses relying on commercial gas supplies.

Here’s the revised price of a 19-kg commercial LPG cylinder in major cities:

• Delhi: ₹1,803 (previously ₹1,797)
• Kolkata: ₹1,913 (previously ₹1,907)
• Mumbai: ₹1,755.50 (previously ₹1,749.50)
• Chennai: ₹1,965.50 (previously ₹1,959.50)

The increase of ₹6 is relatively small compared to previous revisions. In March 2023, for example, the commercial LPG price was hiked by ₹352 per cylinder.

Unlike the commercial gas price hike, the 14.2-kg domestic LPG cylinder price remains the same across India:

• Kolkata: ₹829
• Mumbai: ₹802.50
• Chennai: ₹818.50

The last revision of domestic LPG cylinder prices was in August 2024. The government continues to regulate domestic gas rates to keep household expenses stable.
